A SCARCE .177 SPORTSMATCH 'GC2' CUSTOM AIR-RIFLE WITH JOHN WELHAM THUMBHOLE STOCK, serial no. 108 (801), FOR REPAIR OR SPARES, manufactured in 1989, with 25 1/4in. blued barrel including muzzle-break, blued receiver with make etched on the left hand face in gilt and with integral telescopic sight rail (serial no. inverted on loading tray) twist and pull bolt and push cocking piece at rear (currently not cocking), unique walnut anatomical right hand thumbhole three-quarter stock designed and produced by John Welham with articulated adjustable tyrolean cheek-piece, adjustable butt-pad, adjustable palm-shelf, finger-grooved grip and adjustable walnut plate to the fore-end, polished brass spacer at rear, satin alloy under-barrel reservoir (untested), the stock possibly from another GC2 and currently not fitted to the rifle
